No. Clients make their own housing decisions and agree to rental terms directly with housing providers. With a client's authorization, we can support communication with housing providers about applications, documents and scheduling.

Yes. Simon Resources can assist older adults, and families helping an older relative, with navigating housing options and resources in San Diego County.

We can provide housing-navigation support that takes accessibility and accommodation needs into consideration. We do not provide medical or clinical services.

The Housing Stability Assessment is a session of up to 90 minutes in which we review the current housing situation and urgency, housing needs and preferences, income and a realistic housing budget, housing barriers, document readiness and potential public and community resources. Afterward, clients receive a written Personalized Housing Action Plan. The assessment is our standard starting point for clients who need a personalized housing plan, and we begin with a free 15-minute consultation to determine whether our services are appropriate.

Clients receive a Personalized Housing Action Plan. They may use the plan independently or, when appropriate, continue with Housing Transition Support for hands-on help carrying it out, or Housing Stability Support for ongoing monthly support.
